McMenamins Anderson is a repurposed junior high school that now serves as a special events venue located in downtown Bothell, WA. There is a significant McMenamins presence throughout all of the Pacific Northwest and the Anderson Location is absolutely charming. This is the venue that does it all, hotel, bar, and event space all in one. Although much of the “high school” design was kept, the space is retrofitted to have industrial/commerical elements. Although not your typically wedding venue, McMenamins Anderson sure is unique and your guests will have a fun time regardless.

What makes McMenamins Anderson unique from all other wedding venues is that it’s not anywhere near your typical wedding venue. As a former public high school, this location has plenty of parking and easy and convenient access to all spaces for all your guests. No hills, steep inclines, or rocky walkways. Nestled in the heart of downtown Bothell, this school is located near the iconic Bothell Landing Park, which features a beautiful pedestrian bridge overlooking the Sammamish River. There is also plenty of on-site services and entertainment such as catering. event coordination, a woodshop, and movie theatre. This is a one stop shop if you’re looking for easy planning.

Haynes Hall at McMenamins Anderson can accomodate up to 600 guests standing and 250 seated for a dinner reception. There is plenty of on-site parking for guests.

McMenamins Anderson is perfect for high school sweethearts. With deep meaning and connections through meeting and enjoying a love phase through school, and lasting through young adult years, a wedding venue at a former public school is perfectly sentimental and appropriate for couples who believe in the art of simplicity. Don’t think that because this used to be a high school, it is a “cheap” venue. There is so much character and charm at McMenamins Anderson and with so many on-site facilities and entertainment, your guests will surely be entertained and impressed.
