History of the Venue

The property grounds was purposed in 2019 and since, has been developed to be a special events and wedding venue. With a background in hospitality, owners Kody and Gwen Logg wanted to create a special space for cozy and intimate celebrations by providing an enviornment that was completely different from your typical commericial building. With a passion for nature and the countryside, the Loggs built this beautiful space and are constantly making improvements to ensure the best possible experience for guests.

This 5-acre estate provides a feeling of a secluded fairy-tale setting, but can also be used as a canvas for any theme you have in mind. Whether it’s an understated Bohemian celenration, or sophisticated and elegant event, all charm and personality of the state of Washington can be found right here at Woodside Haven.

Ceremony and Reception Spaces

There ceremony space at Woodside Haven features a very natural and organic forest enviornment. With on-site hand crafted benches from local wood, rectangular frame centerpiece, completely surrounded by nothing but forest trees, you will feel like you’re right in the heart of a campsite. What is more surprising is that this ceremony space is just steps from the venue, offering both privacy, and ease of access for all your guests. There are absolutely no distractions here. If you want part of your ceremony to be completely silent, this is the place to do it. Enchanting, intimate, and wildy romatic, the Logg Meadow provides an unspoiled landscape of surrounding native valley gardens.

The outdoor reception lawn is positioned right in the heart of the venue; just steps away from the Bride’s Suite and Groom’s Room (Great Hall). A reception tent with a cozy reception style setting may be comfortably setup here, providing the perfect intimate setting for you to enjoy with your guests. The lawn is located adjacent to the tall and peculiar Woodside bar, which is festooned in bistro lights. It stands tall and acts as a statement piece and a space of entertainmen tfor all your guests in this protected native old growth forest.

Unique Features

What is unique about Woodside Haven is the organic forest vibes that you will not find at any other venue. The space is not perfectly landscaped and manicured, intentionally so. The natural enviornment of this forest haven is preserved to provide the most organic and natural setting possible for you and your guests to enjoy your day is peace and tranquility.

Hidden on this venue is the Fern Grotto, a beautiful cozy, private, and intimate space surrounded by trees and framed by cafe lights. This is the perfect spot for a woodsy elopement and intimate dances.

Bridal and Groom’s Suite

Decorated in antiqued white and bare wood, the bridal suite (Parlor) features a private room with oversized mirrors, hooks for your bridal dress, stools, and multiple vanity tables to ensure you and your bridal party can get ready in comfort and with privacy. With a sizeable outdoor front patio area that is also completely private, you can get a breath of fresh air admist the countless trees on the venue property. With comfy furnishings and fresh lavender, all senses are stimulated and will grant maximum comfort and relaxation as you prepare for your big day.

Overlooking the reception lawn, The groom’s suite (Great Hall) is freshly remodeled and furnished to provide the best space possible. With English Manor inspired decor comprised of warm tone walls and locally sourced reclaimed timber accents, the men will be able to get ready in style with privacy and ease of access to venue grounds.

Rates and Packages

Rental rates start at $3000 for 8 hour periods for Sundays-Wednesdays, and go up to $3500 for Fridays and Saturdays for a 12 hour period. These packages include a 1 hour rehearsal on the Thursday evening before your big day.

Guest Count Accomodation

Woodside Haven is planned to continue with constant expansion to accomodate larger guest lists. The estimated guest counts for the coming years are as follows:

• 2024 - 50 guests

• 2025 - 70 guests

• 2026 - 100 guests

Additional Info

Sparklers are not permitted on the property grounds to ensure the natural beauty of the forest is preserved.

Outside caterers are permitted.
